We're glad to have someone with your expertise on the forum. Hopefully you can share your knowledge of fish with members with less experience and maybe learn a thing or two about how to more successfully raise and breed fish.

Hello, My name is Maxwell, a fourteen-year-old inhabiting the city of Austin, Texas. I have kept freshwater fish for about two years. I have always had a passion for fish since my father has a two hundred gallon reef tank. I started out with a betta when I was ten and from their branched into a community tank. I have a twenty gallon with a couple of swordtails some neon tetras and angelfish and a couple of panda corydoras in a planted tank.

Well, currently, I'm 19. I started keeping fish when I was about thirteen because my dad had a 55 tropical tank that I just loved to look at. I started with two silver angels in a ten gallon when I was twelve. Those first bred when I was about thirteen and I have been hooked ever since!

Well I would love to get to know each other better. To learn it can be very beneficial to have experienced and wise fish hobbyist's like yourselves with over 5 years of experience. Since I haven't been a strong member of a forum, since their is a lack of a friendly community due to the fact that I am just joining and am not very knowing of them and we are from different generations, which puts a strain on most relationships.

Hi all, I managed to put my own post up for an introduction, before realising there was a general hello in here I'm 28, but if its one thing I've learnt... age matters not when talking fish keeping!! So don't hold back on advice, even if you are 14, 24, 64 or 84.... At this stage, I'll be the listener By way of return, if anyone has trouble with their children (ha ha, that's for you longhorns), assignments (I'm a PhD student in English lit and/or education), or travel, let me know! anna

Well, most people who are young are known for dropping out after a failure and most lack determination to continue and are so willing to start up they fail to do necessary background information
